Long Lake Customs - Shop Updates
Hi everyone,
Well we have a lot going on at our shop these days.
The 1969 Mustang Coupe project has come back from paint and is looking like it will be a very mean looking machine when it’s done. Of course with all dark color cars the true beauty of them isn’t apparent until all of the chrome has been put on, but that will be very soon!
The 1965 GTO has had the undercarraige painted the original midnight blue and has been mounted onto the rebuilt chassis. Work continues on the exterior sheet metal and it is scheduled to hit the body shop next week.
We have a couple of new additions to the shop as well. A 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible that has come back from an amazing paint job and is in need of some mechanical repairs.
Besides the body work being done, this will almost be a complete rebuild from a mechanical sense. We’re hoping to have a lot more pictures as the progress continues on this one.
The second is a 1959 Porsche 356 that has come into the shop in need of autobody work. We’ll be stripping the body and mechanical down and sending it off for paint. After a fresh coat of paint we’ll be reassembling this vintage sports car back to its original beauty.
Last but not least we also had a visit from a true survivor, an original 1969 Dodge Charger with only 54,000 miles. You don’t see these everyday!
It was in our shop for a mechanical inspection to get it back on the road as a daily driver.
Be sure to stay tuned here and at our homepage at www.longlakecustoms.com on all our project updates. It is busy times, but we’re doing our best efforts to keep everyone informed on the progress and what is going on around our shop.
Cheers
